'A Band Apart' a Fashion Film for Zoozoom.com

Background

This Fashion Film which was commissioned by the fashion magazine ZOOZOOM was inspired by the dance scene in the Jean Luc Godard's film 'A Band of Outsiders'. Written and Directed by David McIntyre it was choosen to be screened at the American Dance Festival's 14th Annual Dancing for the Camera: International Festival of Film and Video Dance.

McIntyre has long held the belief that the future of fashion advertising will be video and just as magazine editorials have pushed the boundaries of creativity these fashion shorts or fashion films will follow the path first pioneered with musice videos.
