Case Study: Lindsay Lohan Photo Shoot


Background

Photographers Markus Klinco & Indrani have their own, soon to be launched, Bravo reality show called "Double Exposure'. In advance of the series premiere producer Jorge Perez wanted to raise the duos name awareness.

Brief

The plan was to create a behind the scenes video of a photo shoot they were doing with Lindsay Lohan for Complex Magaine and have it go viral!

Solution

The first part was easy and having a celebrity would help with the second but to just to make sure the video got the maximum exposure we worked with PR 'guru' Abe Gurko of imeanwhat.com and guess what? We caused a stir.

Results

Aided by the fact that we had footage of Indrani in a 'sexy' embrace with Lindsay (At least that what the New York Post called it) the video has been viewed in exceess of a million times. It was first published exclusively and in full on imeanwhat.com before going viral on You Tube, the clip was also featured on Entertainment Tonight and theinsider.com

What made us laugh at IL was that we achieved this level of success despite the fact that due to a pre-shoot agreement with Complex Publisher Mac Ecko the majority of our footage was embargoed until after publication of the magazine. So as they say 'you ain' t seen nothing yet'. Look out for lots more footage of Indrani and Lindsay after the embargo is lifted.
